Facial Feminization Surgery Procedures
Brow Lift: Minimally invasive endoscopic brow lift uses small incisions above the hairline. A small camera is used to reposition the brow with surgical instruments. The brow bones and forehead bone can also be surgically contoured to soften the look of the upper face.
Upper Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty): A feminine eyelid tends to have less heaviness. Dr. Youssef can make an incision along the crease of the upper eyelid to remove a crescent moon shaped section of skin. Through this incision, he also removes any excess fat and tightens muscles in the eyelid to give a more open and feminine look. As a result, more of the eyelid skin shows above the eyelashes and gives room for application of eyeliner and mascara.
Rhinoplasty: Dr. Youssef reshapes bones, softens bumps along the bridge of the nose and softens the angles around the tip of the nose to give it that feminine look, characterized by a smaller sized nose with a little curvature along the profile of the nose.
Lower Face and Neck Lifts: These procedures help contour and reshape the neck and jawline to give a more feminine look. They are usually performed through incisions around the ears and a small incision just below the chin. Dr. Youssef elevates the deeper tissue in the lower face, providing a more heart-shaped face with a slimmer and more feminine jawline.
Tracheal Shave: Also known as Chondrolaryngoplasty, Tracheal Cartilage Shave and Adam's Apple Surgery. The prominent protrusion of the tracheal cartilage is a defining feature of the male neck. Shaving down the cartilage through an incision in the throat results in a more feminine looking neck. With a great success rate and short recovery period, this procedure tends to be one of the most common cosmetic gender-affirming surgeries performed.

Facial Implants: Cheek implants placed in the outer portion of the cheek through small incisions inside the mouth can result in more cheek prominence and a more feminine facial contour.
Lip Fillers: Feminine lips have more volume and definition than male lips. Dr. Youssef has deep expertise with dermal fillers that can enhance, augment and reshape the lips. These fillers have a longevity of approximately 10-12 months.
Laser Skin Resurfacing: This a newer technology can dramatically improve the quality and texture of the skin, resulting in a more youthful appearance. Using computer-guided software, Dr. Youssef delivers small columns of energy into the skin, which forces a new layer of skin to grow with brand new collagen and elastin fibers.
